History[]
The Balsa Wyrm was originally given out by Infernette to Mochiccino as a thank you for the help with a special event/quest. Only Mochiccino owned the original pair: Trees (female) and Roots (male). They had the normal color, because spriter's alts didn't exist. At first, and this lasted a few weeks, only Mochiccino's pair could breed more Balsa Wyrms. All other Balsa Wyrms were descendants of this pair and were not able to breed more Balsa Wyrms, only Balsa Trees.
After a while, Mochiccino allowed Balsa Wyrms to be public. Mochiccino's Balsas were given a special color instead and the ability to produce other Balsa Wyrms with special colors. This started the existence of spriter's alts in FoM.
After Mochiccino quit FoM, Infernette kept her alts Trees and Roots, forming the Deepwoods Family.

Not much is known about Balsa Wyrms, but stories tell of a great entity that brought a single tree to life, twisting and tangling branches and roots to form this creature.
